MLB Nationals Rumors: Washington “Making Progess” with Mike Leake
The Washington nationals are “making progress” in there talks with free agent starting pitcher Mike Leake, as reported by Buster Olney of ESPN.
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports had previously reported that Mike Leake prefers the Nationals League and likes new Nationals manager Dusty Baker.
Mike Leake is a solid, pitch to contact, arm. In 2015 he had a 3.70 era in 192 innings between the Cincinnati Reds and San Francisco Giants.
