MLB Mariners Trade Rumors: Robinson Cano Wants to Leave Seattle
According to a report, the $240-million second baseman wants to return to the Bronx. After only two seasons with the Seattle Mariners, Robinson Cano is reportedly displeased and wants to leave. According to John Harper of the New York Daily News, "one long-time friend who spoke to [Cano] recently says the second baseman is not happy in Seattle, especially with a new regime in charge there now, and that he’d love to somehow find his way back to New York."It's interesting that Robinson Cano is not as much concerned with the Mariners losing, as he is with new management. If this report is indeed true, that tells me a lot about the kind of player he is. Robinson Cano, has had moderate success with the Seattle Mariners. His power numbers are down, but that would be expected moving from Yankee Stadium to Safeco Field. He is still a very production hitter at a position where offense is difficult to find.
