The latest addition to the makeshift team that is the Atlanta Braves is Emilio Bonifacio.
The veteran is the latest to head to Atlanta on a short-term deal. NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Braves have reached agreement on a 1-year, $1.25 million contract with free agent Emilio Bonifacio, according to a baseball source. Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com first reported the deal. Bonifacio can earn an additional $1.25 million incentives and performance bonuses, according to the source.
Bonifacio is a versatile infielder, but has continued to decline offensively.  He will provide off the bench depth.
