The Chicago White Sox have signed catcher Dioner Navarro to a one-year deal, as reported by Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

The White Sox recently non-tendered catcher Tyler Flowers, so Navarro will take his place. He will split time with Alex Avila.

In 2015, with the Toronto Blue Jays, Navarro hit .246 in 171 AB’s. At 31 years old, he gives the White Sox a decent bat at the catcher position.
