Arizona adds Miller and is able to keep A.J. Pollock. The Diamondbacks have swung a blockbuster to acquire starter Shelby Miller and left-hander Gabe Speier from the Braves for a package of Ender Inciarte, Aaron Blair and Dansby Swanson, as first reported by Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com and Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic.
The Diamondbacks are not messing around this offseason.  Their 2016 starting rotation will now consist of Zack Greinke, Shelby Miller, and Partick Corbin.  Not bad.  It does appear, however,  that they gave up a stellar package of prospects. Given the depth of the free agent pitcher market, I'm not sure this was necessary, but there is little doubt that they will be a contender in 2016. The AL West should be a fun division to watch.
