Colby Rasmus Accepts Astros Qualifying Offer
This is pretty shocking as most thought Colby Rasmus would seek a multi year contract on the free agent market. The market for outfielders, however, is fairly deep.
According to Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com, Colby Rasmus will become the first player ever to accept a qualifying offer. The acceptance means that Rasmus will re-sign with the Astros on a one-year, $15.8 million deal.
