Braves Sign Jim Johnson to One-Year $2.5 Million Deal
The Atlanta Braves have reunited with there former closer Jim Johnson.
The Braves re-signed their former closer to a one year deal. Earlier today the Braves announced that they'd agreed to terms with free agent reliever, Jim Johnson; and according to Mark Bowman he'll earn $2.5 million.
We'll refrain from hating on the Braves with this signing. The Braves have to put something on the field in 2016, and like A.J. Pierzynski, Jim Johnson is a quality veteran that can help them.
Jim Johnson will receive $2.5M with his one-year deal. #Braves— Mark Bowman (@mlbbowman) November 30, 2015
