The Houston Astros get their desired closer in Ken Giles.
Say goodbye to Ken Giles, Phillies fans. Mark Berman of FOX 26 KRIV in Houston is reporting that Giles is headed to the Astros in exchange for Vincent Velazquez, Brett Oberholtzer, plus two more players. The deal is pending physicals. MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart has confirmed that Velasquez and Oberholtzer are in the deal.
Ken Giles had a 1.80 era and 15 saves in in 70 innings in 2015.  At 25 years old, The Astros should get a lot of miles out of Ken Giles. The Philadelphia Phillies, however, also get themselves a quality young arm in Vincent Velazquez.  Velazquez had a 4.20 era in 55.2 innings in his first Major League Season with the Phillies.
